Wikwemikong First Nation Ambulance Service

Dear Mr. Dominelli:
This letter is further to the recent letter from the Honourable Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, in which she informed your organization that the Ministry of Health (the "ministry") will provide the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board for the Wikwemikong First Nation Ambulance Service with up to $75,600 in one-time funding for the 2020-21 funding year to support the temporary pandemic pay initiative as part of the COVID-19 response in the emergency health services sector.
Please note that this funding is subject to the terms and conditions and reporting requirements as set out in Appendix A, enclosed with this letter. Your grant will be adjusted in your electronic transfer payments. You will be required to submit an attestation with your actuals at year end. The ministry will then provide or recover the balance owing, as applicable.
You are required to monitor and track COVID-19 temporary pandemic pay spending separately from your normal program operating costs related to any previously approved base and one-time funding.
We appreciate your cooperation with the ministry in managing your funding as effectively as possible. You are expected to adhere to our reporting requirements, particularly for financial reporting, which is expected to be timely and accurate. Based on our monitoring and assessment of your financial reporting, your cash flow may be adjusted appropriately to match actual services provided.
Please review the enclosed Payment Schedule carefully. Should you require any further information or clarification, please contact the Emergency Health Services Finance Department at EHS_Finance@ontario.ca or your Senior Financial Analysts, listed below.
